"Spin-Ruler Sampler"
The Spin-Ruler is an innovative quilting template created to design fantastic
circular spinners that give the illusion of movement. See samples on this page.
The shape of the Spin-Ruler is that of a wedge with all three sides curved either in or out and is
made of acrylic plastic to be used with a rotary cutter.
There are three guide lines on the template for alignment purpose. By placing the same alignment line on the
same seam line of a strata strip made of different fabrics, the same shape can be cut repeatively.
Twelve blades from the same alignment will form an interesting circle.
| The Lost Slipper was created using the Spin-Ruler and cutting the blades from several fabrics. The shoe was appliquéd on top. | 
| This spinner circle uses 12 identical blades. One alignment line is placed on the same sewing line of the strata. These spinners will change with the use of color placement in the strata. |
